its all in the details

All custom commissions are original fine-ink illustrations, with the option to add watercolor. Each piece is created from a meaningful place, whether its a home, wedding venue, favorite café, storefront, first date spot, or somewhere sentimental in between.

Commissions are available in select sizes: mini 2.5×3.5, standard 5×7, medium 8×10, and large 9×12. A 50% deposit required to reserve your spot, with the remaining balance due before shipping.

Each piece begins with a pencil sketch for approval before moving into final ink details. Watercolor can be added for an additional fee.

FAQs

  • Current turn around times are up to 8 weeks from the day your deposit is received and your commission is confirmed. Every piece is drawn entirely by hand, so I leave enough room to give the artwork the time it deserves and capture all the little details! Busier times of year can run toward the longer end of that, and I'll always tell you where things stand.

  • At the moment, I can provide a clean individual custom portraits but I am hoping to offer high quality digital and/or printed copies in the future.

  • My work focuses on the architecture and the details around it, so unfortunately I don't draw people, pets, or cars. If there's a detail that matters to you, note it in the form and we'll work out how to bring the place to life without them!

  • Absolutely! It’s one of the most commons reasons people commission me - house warming gifts, anniversary gifts, christmas gifts, mother’s day gifts - you name it!

  • Bright, straight-on, and as high-resolution as you can manage. A few angles is even better, extra photos help me get the small details right. If a photo isn't clear enough to work from, I'll let you know and we can find a better one together

  • Anything your heart desires! I’ll try my best to work in details to make your commission feel unique in either elements or watercolor wash. Some details I’ve been requested so far are:

    • Season (fall/winter/spring/summer)

    • Specific dates

    • Wreath

    • Flowers

    • Rocking chairs

  • Through a Square invoice I'll email you directly. No account is needed just a card. Payment is split into 1) a 50% deposit to reserve your commission spot and 2) the balance once your piece is finished, before it ships.

  • It depends on size and whether you'd like a watercolor wash added. I'll send your exact price with your confirmation email.

  • I’ll email you either way confirming if you have a spot or if you are on my waitlist for next commission cycle. Waitlist spots get first access to the next cycle.

  • Submitting is a request, not a booking. I review everything after the cycle closes and email you either way to let you know whether I have room for your piece. If I do, that email includes your exact price, your deposit invoice, and next steps.

  • Love that you’re interested in working with me! I open commissions up periodically and will send out updates/announcements on my email list and social media accounts. Please subscribe to my emails and follow me on social media to stay up to date!
